A local clean water advocacy group plans to sue the City of Pulaski for illegal sewage violations. According to media sources, the group which goes by the name Tennessee Riverkeeper, claims that Pulaski Waste Water Treatment is responsible for spilling millions of gallons of raw sewage into Richland Creek which drains into the Elk River. David Whiteside, the founder of the group, has sent a letter of intent to sue Mayor Pat Ford that outlines 122 Clean Water Act violations they say took place over the last 5 years. The group plans on suing in sixty days.
